Refers to Youth Contact aiming to assist consumers, their families and supporters in understanding mental illness, developing effective coping strategies, reducing family tension, providing social support, focusing on the future, and finding ways to aid in recovery through relationship building, education, collaboration, and problem-solving. This includes learning about mental illness, mastering new methods of managing it, and offering encouragement to one another.

Intensive case management

Intensive Case Management (ICM) is an essential service in the mental health care continuum for individuals with severe mental illness. It involves building a caring and trustworthy relationship with the consumer, promoting their independence by coordinating appropriate services and providing ongoing, long-term support.
