I have so much gratitude for the Portland and Vancouver VA. They did a great job on my surgery and their help didn't end there. I've been dealing with cancer you 5 years. The primary I have here in Vancouver is fantastic. He immediately sent me to Portland when he found out 3 years ago. Every appointment is easy and I have blood work done in Vancouver before my Chemo in Portland. I couldn't ask for better care.

I've found on my visits to this hospital the staff is top-notch the waiting room pleasant and the atmosphere very professional. I'm sorry others haven't had the same experience because I've always felt important. I recently had cataract surgery on my eyes here; top notch treatment with great outcome. I'm grateful I live so close.

Very nice and modern building. Houses a medical clinic and various Clark county services. There is also a rehab facility here. Has a coffee barista bar so you can grab a snack and a latte while you wait. Huge parking lot but usually very hard to find a space. Leave a little early to be safe.

They are OK. If you can get in a good place to recuperate after surgery. Or when there's nothing left and the tank is empty. A very good place if you are a young veteran SOL. They seem to be dialed in to the post 911 Veterans. Unlike Portland they do more than just pass out meds. Good luck- have a back-up plan.

Friendly staff wonderful social workers and a laidback campus that looks more like lodges at a wildlife preserve (there was a spotted owl sighting just the other day!). Very different from the grandiose (also beautiful) hospital that is the Portland VA/OHSU.
