Methadone

Buprenorphine without naloxone

A medication used to treat opioid addiction by alleviating the withdrawal symptoms, which can be administered orally, through injection, as a transdermal patch, or in the form of an implant.

Buprenorphine (extended-release, injectable)

A shot that is used to treat individuals over 18 years of age who are struggling with moderate to severe opioid dependence, whether it be from prescription or illicit opioids, and who have been taking a buprenorphine-containing medication orally (either under the tongue or inside the cheek) for at least 7 days, which helps to manage their withdrawal symptoms.
