Activity therapy

Refers to therapy that utilizes creative arts, physical movement, sound and rhythm, leisure activities, and dramatic role-playing to aid in the treatment of emotional and mental health issues.

Cognitive behavioral therapy

Group therapy

Involves small groups, typically consisting of 4 to 12 individuals who share similar challenges, meeting regularly with a therapist at CAST Centers. The therapist leverages the emotional interactions within the group to provide relief from distress and potentially modify the behavior of the group members.

Integrated Mental and Substance Use Disorder treatment

A treatment approach that addresses both mental illness and substance abuse simultaneously, offered by a single clinician or treatment team. This long-term, community-focused program uses specialized counseling specifically designed for individuals with co-occurring disorders.

Individual psychotherapy

Focuses on addressing a patient's current life and relationships within their family, social, and work environment through one-on-one therapy sessions. The aim is to identify and resolve issues with a deeper understanding, and also to build upon the patient's strengths.
