This includes learning about mental illness, mastering new methods of managing it, and offering encouragement to one another.

Intensive case management

It involves building a caring and trustworthy relationship with the consumer, promoting their independence by coordinating appropriate services and providing ongoing, long-term support. The case manager coordinates services from multiple systems as the consumer's needs change, working to help them achieve their recovery goals and stabilize their lives. Intensive case management is critical in providing the support and resources that consumers need to improve their quality of life.

Psychosocial rehabilitation services

Refers to therapeutic or intervention services offered individually or in groups at East County Childrens Behavioral Health, aimed at improving daily and community-living skills, self-care abilities, and training in specific skills such as grooming, bodily care, feeding, social skills, and basic language skills.

Therapeutic foster care

Case management service
