HOPICS helped me find shelter during a very difficult time in Los Angeles (mass homelessness crowded shelters and COVID-19). They also provided food while waiting. Not guaranteed to find you stable housing you're required to do three months of attending classes to even graduate and the only resources they provide aren't always guaranteed to help. Oh and as for your DCFS case you're better off trying to do it on your own.
