Haloperidol

More effective at treating positive symptoms of schizophrenia, such as hallucinations and delusions, but may also have a higher risk of causing adverse effects, Haloperidol is considered a high-potency antipsychotic drug used to treat psychotic disorders. Haloperidol is typically prescribed at a lower dose than Fluphenazine due to its higher potency.

Clozapine

A medication that also belongs to the class of drugs known as atypical antipsychotics and maybe used may be used as a treatment option in Guidance Center for individuals with treatment-resistant schizophrenia, or those who have not responded well to other antipsychotic medications in a drug treatment facility.

Olanzapine

Olanzapine, an atypical antipsychotic, is primarily prescribed for the treatment of bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. It can be used for both long-term maintenance and new-onset disease in schizophrenia, and can be administered orally or via intramuscular injection.

Quetiapine

An atypical antipsychotics used to treat schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and major depressive disorder by reducing the symptoms of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and major depressive disorder, such as hallucinations, delusions, mood swings, and sleep disturbances. Aunique aspect of Quetiapine is that it has been associated with a relatively lower risk of extrapyramidal symptoms (EPS) compared to some other antipsychotics. EPS are a set of movement disorders that can occur with the use of antipsychotic medications, and can include symptoms such as tremors, muscle stiffness, and involuntary movements. While Quetiapine may still cause EPS in some individuals, it is generally considered to have a lower risk of these symptoms compared to other antipsychotics.

Risperidone

Risperidone also an atypical antipsychotics thats used in the treatment of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and irritability associated with autism, may differ from similar medications in its class because its able to be administered via a long-acting injection that is given every two weeks. This can be particularly helpful for individuals who have difficulty adhering to a medication regimen, as it ensures that the medication is consistently delivered to the body.

Non-nicotine smoking/tobacco cessation

Medications that work on the brain to reduce a person's desire for tobacco and are not containing nicotine are known as smoking cessation medications. Some popular examples include Bupropion (Zyban, Wellbutrin) and Nortriptyline (Pamelor). These medications are often used along with behavioral therapy or support groups for maximum efficacy in helping individuals quit smoking for the long term.
